摘要

The data for the purification of actual groundwater polluted with tetrachloroethylene by a photocatalytic treatment plant are reported. The pilot plant was very effective in removing tetrachloroethylene (PCE) from water; the highest PCE removal efficiency was ca. 99/100. The results obtained by the experiment were summarized as follows: 1) The PCE removal ratio was dependent on the initial PCE concentration in air. 2) Removal ratio of PCE in the photocatalytic reactor reached a maximum at the air flow rate of about 7 l/min.
