In this paper the theory, experiments and practical application of ball vibration absorber for horizontal movement are described, as well as its efficiency in comparison with that f the pendulum absorber. Two prototypes of such absorbers were recently realized on small TV towers in the Czech Republic and their dynamic behaviour started to be examinated.
