Guest Editorial: An Opinion on the Opinion-An Access Services Librarian's Perspective on the Georgia State Ruling

These are a sample of the statements that have been made by pundits, scholars, reporters, and similar individuals regarding the Georgia State ruling. To be exact, they are paraphrases because I cannot recall the precise origins of these few amongst the plethora of pithy catch phrases I have heard or read since May 11, 2012. Many of the phrases convey their author's conviction regarding Federal District Court Judge Orinda Evans's 350-page opinion, and many authors seem to put the ruling in black-or-white, win-or-lose dichotomies (or in limbo if one believes an appeal is imminent).
