摘要

Processing graphs are a standard design aid in the development of complex digital signal processing systems. Processing graph methodology allows one to easily understand the signal processing performed by graphical depicting the structure of the algorithm. In most of DSP applications, time is a precious commodity and the signals must be acquired, digitized, processed and reconverted back to analog form in real time i.e. within specified time-intervals or deadlines. Latency have important role for real time processing. In this paper, latency and analysis of latency in any PGM graph are discussed. How this factor affects the Digital Signal Processing and when processing requires some delay then, by implementation of imposed latency, real time signal processing can be obtained which are also discussed here.
