We've all seen the Utopias and dystopias created by both film makers and architects. Lesley Gavin and David Brown examine some of the larger challenges facing cities, and some of the ways that technology can be used to address thesernchallenges. They believe our industry needs to work closely with urban planners, architects and economists to develop sustainable solutions and to avoid plunging into the dark and grim futures depicted by today's film-makers.
