Professor Peter T. Kirstein, along with his colleagues and collaborators, have contributed significantly to the evolution of the Internet, from 1973 until the present day. Here, )on Crowcroft, who's involvement in the work spanned from 1981-2001, presents the true scale of Peter's contributions which, he says were extremely important and often understated thanks to 'the naturally self-effacing inhabitants of these islands when compared with our American cousins'.
