The use of statistics, the ancestor of analytics has been around since the time ofbuilding the pyramids in Egypt. Early forms of analytics have existed since the1800s; however, it has not been viable to companies generally until theevolution of computer technology. Today, any company has the tools andresources available to them at comparatively low cost.
