摘要

We proposed a blended mesh and texture coding technique including mesh blended non-compressed-texture method and a mesh blended compressed-texture method. With the former, we embed the compressed 3D mesh into the redundancy of the texture without damaging it. While with the second one, the data of compressed mesh is embedded into the compressed texture with steganographic method which will introduce noises into texture. Experimental results shows higher compression ratio can be gained further based existing 3D mesh and image compression method.
