摘要

In online-shopping, the size and quantity of most orders are different. So how to pick and pack the objects of orders becomes a critical problem. To solve this problem, a picking and packing integrated model in automated warehouse system is proposed. The objects of one order can be split into smaller orders according to the volume and loading weight of container. Then the objects can be packaged in the suitable containers. A dispatching algorithm based on cloud model and culture algorithm is proposed. The steps of the proposed algorithm are discussed in detail. Finally, the example result shows that it can effectively optimize picking and packing operations and reduce the waste of containers.
