FACTORS AFFECTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINOUS REGION OF VIETNAM - APPROACHING FROM A MODEL OF STRUCTURAL STRUCTURE (SEM)

Developing small and medium-sized enterprises in general, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in industry in particular is an important strategy in the economic development of each locality because of the increasing and direct impacts on economic growth through promoting entrepreneurship, creativity and economic dynamism, creating value chains associated with large businesses. SMIEs increasingly play an important role with contributions to growth through indirect channels based on the development of supporting industries, satellite enterprises, contributing to balanced and stable social development This paper studies and explores the factors that actually affect the development of SMIEs in the Northern midland and mountainous region - Case study in Thai Nguyen province through a linear structure model (SEM) model The results have proved that there are 7 factors affecting the development of SMIEs in Thai Nguyen province. These are: Support from the Government; Local support policies; Management capacity; Raw materials; Labor; Access to finance and Science and technology level
