Shri B.J. Vasavada, is a Water ＆ Sewerage Sector Engineer having work with Government of Gujarat for the period 1968 to 2004. He retired as Chief Engineer and Member Secretary of the Gujarat Water Supply ＆ Sewerage Board. During this tenure he was involved in planning and execution of the Narmada based Drinking Water Supply Master Plan covering 3500 Kms of large diameter water transmission mains, pumping stations etc. He is also a qualified lawyer with a degree in law and has been practicing since 2004 in the field of administration, management and dispute resolution of construction contracts. He has been advising major construction companies as well as Government organizations. He is also an Arbitrator. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers and Indian Water Works Association. He was President of the Indian Water Works Association during 2005-2006.
