Rehabilitation of Concrete Liquid Retaining Structures - Engineer's Perspective

Like human beings, with age, Concrete liquid retaining structures too need strengthening or retrofitting or rehabilitation for various reasons. A systematic and timely approach needs to be deployed to assess the health of the structure and to determine the probabilistic performance for the intended purpose or change of the intent or service requirements in the post-rehabilitation stage. Such timely systematic structural rehabilitation approach along-with proper maintenance will enhance the life of the structure or part thereof with economical retrofitting of the structure.
