摘要

The laboratory percolation model tests were performed to simulate the leachate flow rate as a representative percolation rate in a landfill/open dumps. Leachate percolation rate modeling of soil, with and without waste was developed and validated, which was further used to estimate the water balances in the soil profile considering its percolation rate. The leachate percolation rate in the study increases through a selected distance than decreases gradually for one dimensional flow in all cases, until a point was reached when the concentration was almost zero and later with the addition of more water increases again to a constant situation.
