摘要

Correlative imaging of single tabular grains of silver bromide is performed, using a force-regulated near-field scanning optical microscope. The topography and fluorescence images of samples of a sensitizing dye on a glass substrate and on silver bromide grains, showing a spatially nonuniform fluorescence signal, are also presented. Near-field fluorescence spectra of the dye, taken at a corner of a single grain of silver bromide, are shown. The spectra are in good qualitative agreement with the published data on film samples containing this dye.
