The writers appreciate the comments and the accurate experimental work by the discussers. The writers are also pleased to note that the discussers' findings corroborate the results and validate the conjectures of the paper. This closure presents the following items: (1) reduction of the coefficient in Eq. (1) of the paper for a suitable interpretation of the experimental data, (2) hydrograph time steps n in the paper's methodology, and (3) fluid phase re- gime in usual laboratory conditions for steady and unsteady flows in the approach channel.
