HUD Officials Address Conference Session on Voucher Program

Milan M. Ozdinec, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Housing and Voucher Programs, and David A. Vargas, Director for Housing Voucher Programs, addressed a session at the 2008 NAHRO Legislative Conference. In the session, which was moderated by Dianne Hovdestad, Chairperson of NAHRO's Housing Committee, Ozdinec and Vargas provided a variety of information relating to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, including FY 2008 funding for Housing Assistance Payments and administrative fees, and rent reform and administrative fee studies.NAHRO appreciates the efforts of Mr. Ozdinec and Mr. Vargas to bring NAHRO members up to date on voucher program issues HUD and the PHAs are facing.
