SCALING THE HEIGHTS: THE 2013 NAHRO SUMMER-CONFERENCE

The first day of this year's summer conference was mostly taken up with committee meetings and related events. Early arrivals also had the opportunity to register for an optional afternoon walking tour of the Mile-High City that included the Denver Art Museum, the Denver Public Library, the United States Mint and Colorado's Capitol. At 5:45 p.m., conference newcomers filled filled one of the hotel's event rooms for the First-Time Attendees Overview, during which NAHRO Customer Relations and Member Services Director Lori Myers-Carpenter presided over icebreakers and provided a guide through the conference's packed program.
