DRIVING QUALITY OF LIFE

Boston's Columbia Point was a notorious failed housing project, and was one of the nation's first public housing developments to be converted into a privately managed, mixed-income community. What was once known as Columbia Point is now Harbor Point, a 1,283-unit mixed-income community. This article illustrates a collaborative, quality of life-centered practice developed by the management team, which has demonstrably contributed to improving residents' lives at Harbor Point.
