AS WE BEGIN our work with the new administration and the new Congress, NAHRO has much to be proud of. The year 2016 was one of the association's best advocacy years to date. In 2015, NAHRO advocates sent 1,418 letters to their members of Congress. In 2016, the number grew to 4,241 letters—a whopping 199 percent increase. NAHRO also increased engagement with its members. In 2015, 461 unique individuals sent letters to Congress; in 2016 that number increased to 1,298.
