摘要

Have you got statistics to back up your claims? Starting in college, the word "statistics" has struck fear in the heart of many students. From the concepts of statistics to the actual required courses, statistics has rattled most people to the core. In health care today, libraries have become targets for downsizing and even elimination. Librarians are asked to produce data that support every aspect of the library: salaries, resources, space, etc. Health care administrators are screaming for data/statistics. This short and concise book tells librarians how to produce data without dire consequences to mind and body. The appendix of this book alone offers simple approaches to gathering data, from handy checklists to actual questions to ask.
