This work is set up to aid librarians in developing their careers and skill sets with a targeted strategy. Jamie Gray has been a librarian for 10-12 years at the writing of this work and may be a little short on life experience in the profession to have the expertise to write a book with the title being a Powerhouse Librarian. That being said, she offers good insight into strategies that will help a professional librarian develop effectiveness inside and outside the workplace.
