Limited Quantities A Proposal Submitted by the Experts From Canada and France To The Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods

International regulation of the transportation of small hazardous materials packages (dangerous goods) are not unified from mode to mode, or from code to code. As such, the smallest unit sizes have encountered some of the greatest inefficiencies in handling and distribution. To date the UN Committee of Experts, in its general program of global harmonization of dangerous goods requirements, has discussed this topic without resolution. In this biennial work period, however, more progress is being made and a formal proposal will be discussed at the July 2004 session.
