PENALTY VIOLATIONS

This issue's reporting period for penalties issued by the U.S.D.O.T, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration covered the months of January and February featuring fines for 34 different companies. The largest fine was issued to a Package Distributor amounting to nearly $30,000. Offering a hazardous material in an unauthorized packaging was the most prevalent penalty assessed during this reporting period. The sum of all fines during March and April amounted to over $250,000.
