摘要

This Note investigated the flyaround orbit design problem of autonomous rendezvous. The contributions mainly involve several aspects. First, one new relative orbit element, referred to as relative inclination angle, is first presented to describe intuitively the orientation of the relative flyaround orbit plane. Although the reparameterization is a small change with respect to the work in the literature, it is a useful one. The most significant contribution is the completely analytical development on the optimum initial phase angle.
