ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENTIATION OF RURAL DWELLING SPACE AROUND THE METROPOLIS IN CHINA DURING THE CONSUMPTION SHIFT - A CASE STUDY OF LIANHUA CHI VILLAGE IN BEIJING

摘要

With the globalisation spreading to the countryside, rural development has entered a new stage in China and has become a new consumption pattern. The countryside has become the most important leisure consumption space for urban residents. This paper selects Lianhua Chi village in Beijing as case area, quantitatively analyses the function differentiation and reconstruction logic of residential space around the metropolis. The results show that the function differentiation and reconstruction of rural dwelling space near-urban in China is essentially the result of interaction that power, capital and villagers countervailing and restraining under the background of the change of consumption demand of urban residents.
