摘要

Physiokinetotherapy and hydrotherapy represent an important step in maximisation the effects of conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (csDMARDs) and biological (boDMARDs) for the rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, being in minimum or inactivity disease. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of either physiokinetotherapy alone or physiokinetotherapy combined with hydrotherapy on RA disease. In the present study 50 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: the 1st group of patients (n = 25) who underwent procedures of physiokinetotherapy and hydrotherapy for 10 days, and the 2nd group (n = 25) in which the patients performed an adapted physiokinetotherapy program for 3 months and repeated at 6 months. The patients were analysed for the number of painful joints and the number of swollen joints, including physician or patient assessment of the disease activity. Title of serological markers for erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C reactive protein (CRP) were also recorded. Disease activity score (DAS28), DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP were measured together with the quality of life by health assessment questionnaire (HAQ). The results sustain the fact that parameters like number of painful joints, physician or patient assessment of the disease activity, HAQ, DAS28-ESR and DAS28-PCR showed a decrease in disease activity in RA in the 1st group with minimum or inactivity disease in respect with the 2nd group. Our study showed that the newest therapies like hydrotherapy assessed to RA patients could diminish the activity of the disease by inducing the passing through minimum to inactivity disease in association with both csDMARDs or boDMARDs.
