摘要

The poor real-time performance of the environmental monitoring system will affect the accuracy of the data, thus affecting the timeliness of environmental decision-making. In this paper, the author researches on the end-to-end packet delay analysis based on traffic tracking in environmental monitoring system by using the Lindley equation. In this paper, the packet effective capacity model with leaky buckets is validated by a Gigabit Ethernet system that is publicly available for Internet traffic tracking. Tracing is downloaded from the historic trace repository, which contains information about packet arrival instances and packet length sizes. The distribution fitting technique is adopted to ensure the smoothness of the test. The experiment result shows that the proposed method can improve the overall performance.
