Agriculture and EU Environmental Law

摘要

For practitioners specialising in agricultural law, a working knowledge of environmental law is essential. With a growing number of regulations impacting on agricultural businesses, the agricultural practitioner is just as likely to be asked to advise on environmental protection as landlord and tenant matters. Even though the common agricultural policy has been a major influence on European agriculture for more than 40 years, few textbook sources provide a detailed analysis of the effect of European Union (EU) policy on the rural environment. Accordingly, the first edition of this work aims to provide an overview of the regulations that affect agriculture.
