摘要

Acute toxicity tests were carried out with four metals on Penaeus indicus postlarvae. The resulting 96 h LC_50 values showed that copper was the most toxic metal followed by cadmium, zinc and lead. LC_50 values for Cu, Cd, Zn and Pb were 2.535, 3.119, 6.223 and 7.223 ppm respectively. The safe concentrations for all these metals were Also calculated.
