A Perishable Inventory Model with an Inventory-Level-Dependent Demand Rate

摘要

This paper investigates an optimal procurement pol- icy for the item with an inventory-level-dependent demand rate and fixed lifetime. The demand rate is assumed to be a function of current inventory level. And it is assumed that each unit has its fixed expiry Date and any units which remain unsold by their Expiry data are considered outdated, and disposed Of. For the model developed, separable programming Is utilized to determine the optimal order level and Order cycle length.
