摘要

Frictional contact problems of multi-bodies are frequently encountered in the mechanical design,. Determination of contact stresses is an important aspect for the designer. Generally, frictional contact between deformable bodies is a nonlinear problem. The analysis of this problem becomes more difficult when the contacting bodies experience large deformation. The problem is much more complicated when contact of multi-bodies is encountered. Therefore, This paper presents an efficient procedure capable of analyzing nonlinear frictional contact problems of multi-bodies. The incremental Lagrangian formulation is used to investigate the geometrical nonlinearity, while the mathematical programming method is adopted to solve the contact problem. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed procedure, the contact problem of a multi-leaf spring is analyzed.
