Car A/V Products, Technologies Highlighted at Tokyo Motor Show

Leading car audio-visual manufacturers showcased their latest products and technologies at the 37th Tokyo Motor Show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan in October. Manufacturers displayed mainstream car navigation systems and car A/V products that are currently on the market and appealed to automakers with leading-edge A/V and information and communications technologies as well as proprietary technologies. Manufacturers also unveiled new models planned for release in the market starting next spring. The show attracted 263 companies, primarily automakers and automotive equipment manufacturers from 14 countries, four government agencies and one organization. The event attracted 1.42 million visitors.
