Nichicon (America) Seeks More Applications for Capacitors

Nichicon (America) Corp. has launched a business initiative with in-vehicle applications as the nucleus of its business operations in North America. Based in Schaumburg, Illinois, which is near Chicago, Nichicon (America) is a U.S. subsidiary of Nichicon Corp. and holds a large share of the market for capacitors tailored for American automotive manufacturers and electric equipment manufacturers. Ippei Takeda, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nichicon Corp., took part in launching Nichicon America in 1970 and laid the groundwork for what it is today.
