Quality of HD Audio Output Helps Onkyo Win Award

Amid fierce competition, manufacturers of high-definition (HD) audio-video (A/V) components have been working to better integrate video and audio processing. One such manufacturer is Onkyo Corp., which in the past year has gotten attention for its lineup of multichannel A/V receivers. At the What Hi-Fi Awards held in London in October 2007, the company won all categories in the multichannel receiver section. Based on the quality of its HD audio output and video processing ability, the TX-SR875 7.1-channel A/V receiver took the award for receivers over £750.
