Group Promotes Use of HD-PLC Technology

The High Definition-Power Line Communication (HD-PLC) Alliance has introduced over 60 products incorporating the HD-PLC technology during the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, United States, as the group put forward the benefits of the said technology. The HD-PLC Alliance has highlighted power line network products in various applications and demonstrated how the technology enables ordinary home electrical wiring to serve as a high-speed network, transforming wall outlets in every room into convenient network connections for many types of devices.
