A Review and Comparison of Psychology-Related Electronic Resources

This paper reviews and compares the relative usefulness of CINAHL®, Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HaPI), PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, and MEDLINE via PubMed for searching the psychology-related literature. The authors also present information about Psyc-EXTRA, the American Psychological Association's newest database covering gray literature, with comments on its performance as a searchable database. A sample search is used to compare retrieval results, and show the extent and appropriateness of coverage for each resource.
