Designing for the Mobile Web

摘要

Mobile technology use is increasing and will soon have an impact on medical libraries. This article provides a brief background of the history of mobile computing as well as the impact of devices such as the iPhone, BlackBerry, and Google Android. Strategies for library development as well as challenges are included to help medical libraries understand the nature of developing mobile content for Web-enabled devices.
