Many librarians are facing the mandate to convert to electronic resources, often with administration's assumption that this is a simple process. With the myriad of e-book vendor interlaces, different e-readers, and the continually evolving e-book market, librarians have had to puzzle this out on their own. With E-Books in Libraries: A Practical Guide, it is the editors' intent to create best practices for the moving target that is e-books, acknowledging the difficulty of writing content that may soon be out of date.
