Boeing Phantom Works (St. Lou-is, MO) won a coveted $323 million 42-month US Army contract on to develop and produce the service's planned new manned aerial En-hanced Medium-Altitude Recon-naissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS). EMARSS will comprise a suite of sensors and communica-tions equipment with two operator workstations integrated on the small Hawker Beechcraft (Wichita, KS) King Air 35OER twin-engine turbo-prop business aircraft.
