SAAB TO DELIVER EW TRAINING SERVICES FOR SWEDISH ARMED FORCES

Saab has been awarded a SEK300 million (US$45.2 million) contract by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to provide aerial target services to the Swedish armed forces through to 2020.Under the terms of the service agreement with FMV, Saab will continue to deliver aerial target services with aircraft role-equipped for the various exercise tasks - chiefly electronic warfare (EW) training and target towing - required by the Swedish armed forces. Operations bring a comprehensive undertaking with Saab chiefly providing EW and target-towing flight operations. Also included within the framework of the agreement is maintenance and modification of aircraft and equipment.
