My colleague Jim Peach and I take economic abundance as one of the characteristic elements of institutional economics. We know that some of us suffer from scarcity because of human cussedness (imbecile institutions), not natural law. So what first attracted me to this book was its title, Rediscovering Abundance. The book actually is about wealth. Nevertheless, the book is directly related to abundance because of the way it treats the nature, creation, and distribution of wealth.
