Book Review of Wealth in the UK. Distribution,Accumulation and Policy

This book reports on the results from a research program on the changing distribution of wealth in the United Kingdom carried out within the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion at the London School of Economics and Political Science and lead by John Hills, who has also contributed to six of the nine chapters. The presentation is divided into three different parts. The first part "Wealth and distribution" sets the scene both nationally and internationally. In the second part the authors discuss properties of the wealth accumulation processes which have been important in the UK in the last decades. The final part deals with wealth policy in the UK.
