Best practice-sharing has been instrumental in exchanging ideas and furthering our organizational development. The balanced scorecard has helped to foster a culture of customer service excellence, which is the hallmark of our reputation in the group dental benefits market. Through implementation of the BSC system, our company has been able to align its strategy and develop a culture where all employees are pulling in the same direction. We found that rapid implementation and tying scorecard performance to compensation in the early stages helped accelerate acceptance and buy-in at all levels of the organization.
