Complex formation equilibria of dehydroacetic acid with Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Zn2+ and Mn2+ and the ternary complexes involving Cu2+, dehydroacetic acid and some amino acids containing different functional groups are investigated. Stoichiometry and stability constants for the complexes are estimated at 25°C and 0.1 M ionic strength in 25% dioxane-water mixtures. The concentration distribution diagrams of the complexes were evaluated.
