Russia and the West: Environmental Co-operation and Conflict

摘要

The main aim of this book is to clarify similarities in, and differences between, perceptions of Russia and its western neighbours (mainly Norway) over a range of environmental problems in the Arctic region. To achieve this aim, the book focuses on three main themes of environmental pollution in the European Arctic and Russian North-West, namely marine living resources, nuclear safety and industrial pollution.
