Ulimate strength analysis of corrugated bulkheads considering influence of shear force and adjoining structures

摘要

In this paper, simplified formulas to calculate the ultimate strength of corrugated bulkheads are derived using the beam-column theory. The formulas can bake account of the influences of shear force an adjoining structures. By comparing the results from present formulas with those of other numerical analyses, it is shown that the formulas derived in this paper are accurate and reliable for engineering purposes. Thus, a more powerful; design tool is provided.
