摘要

It is shown that the energy of interaction (the difference of the mean values of the mutual electric and magnetic energies) of the field of radiation of an arbitrary antenna and its scattering field stored in the surrounding space is determined by the directional characteristic of this antenna in the transmitting mode. The applicability of the obtained relationships are illustrated by an example of calculating the mutual impedance of two antennas.
