Editor's Introduction

I am excited to introduce the articles in this issue of the Journal of Communication Inquiry, beginning with an engaging interview with feminist media scholar and media historian Susan Douglas. The interview, conducted by Hye Jin Lee and Huike Wen, continues our recent series of conversations with influential scholars such as Lawrence Grossberg (Vol. 32, No. 2), Graeme Turner (Vol. 32, No. 3), and Tim Edwards (Vol. 32, No. 4). In the tradition of past interviews in the journal with scholars such as Stuart Hall (Vol. 10, No. 1), these interviews are designed to reveal the diverse range of issues and contemporary concerns of critical communication and cultural studies scholars.
