The Power of Polyamide 4.6 Stanylenka~Tm

TANYLENKA~TM 460HRST, THE high-tenacity filament yarn that is made from high temperature resistant polyamide 4.6 (PA 4.6), is manufactured in five different counts. In this paper, the advantages of this new high-tenacity yarn in airbag applications will be presented as they appear from a number of very recent evaluations. The history of PA 4.6 will be described briefly by way of introduction. It is at ]the same time a story of close cooperation with DSM, the polymer manufacturer.
