FLIPP—Furthering Life Cycle Considerations Through Integrated Product Policy—The Swedish research program for sustainable product systems

FLIPP is a joint research program between the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University (IIIEE) and Environmental Systems Analysis at Chalmers Institute of Technology (ESA). The two institutes were rewarded this five-year program (2003-2008) from the Research Council at the Swedish EPA in June 2003 and the program was officially launched on 10 November 2003 within an invited audience of more than 80 researchers, industrialists and authority representatives predominantly from Sweden, but also with some colleagues from Denmark and Norway.
